As a communications professional, I have worked in the media for 15 years, and I am now working as a Communications Specialist and Web Coordinator for the Washington State Department Ecology.  I completed my Master of Strategic Communications Degree with Washington State University in 2017 and my Master of Public Policy Degree in 2015.

I shoot video professionally and still photography as a hobby.  My work has been seen around the world from NBC, BBC, ESPN, CNN, and Fox News to the Discovery Channel, E! entertainment, and the Dr. Phil show, along with many others.  My photography has been published in Encyclopedia Britannica, Wikipedia, and  I enjoy visual storytelling, and photographing landscapes, flowers, wildlife, the cosmos, and of course my family and friends.

I have a long list of hobbies and things I enjoy doing and I am happy to call the Pacific Northwest home.  I am an avid outdoorsman. As a father of three boys, I enjoy hiking, backpacking, fishing, kayaking, camping, and long walks on the beach with my family.

I am a classically trained concert-level pianist and accompanist.  I am a student of Vedrana Subotic, Norman Poulshock, and Annette Longhurst.  I have a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Utah where I performed as a tenor for three years in the University of Utah Singers, and the University of Utah Chamber Choir.  I am currently a member of and section leader for the Capital City Chorus.  I am also a composer and arranger of choral, orchestral, and piano works.
